On Friday, February 6, 2004, the National Office for Research, Measurement and
Evaluation conducted its inaugural research advisory board meeting at the University of Arkansas. The meeting served to provide ideas and to construct future goals through suggestions by the Advisory Board. Many of these ideas have already been implemented in the month following the meeting. Many will be implemented in the near future.

Enterprise Guide was demonstrated by Denise Airola and Dr. Sean Mulvenon, conducting an abbreviated training session with the board, highlighting key dimensions of particular interest to school administrators and teachers.

The planning session highlighted current projects in the NORMES office, and provided future direction for continued projects and enhancements to current research and services.
